About Us
OUR MISSION
We are Stockholm’s premier online collection of Second Hand clothing, shoes, and accessories sold exclusively in Plus Sizes (Women’s EU 42-62). We provide an elevated and contemporary second hand shopping experience for people who wear Plus Sizes.
Our mission at Livstid Second Hand (LSH) is to provide our customer base with a curated selection of Plus Size items that are both high quality and stylish. We aim to establish a circular business model that thrives off of the continued donations/purchases made from/by members of our online community.
Our objective is to set a new standard within the local second hand clothing industry here in Stockholm, and Sweden as a whole, where accessibility, inclusivity, and community are the core components.
Because your values should never have to be compromised due to your clothing size
“Plus-size women are discriminated against in so many ways, to the point where they are forced to make unethical buying choices because there is nothing else available.”
- Perelandra Beedles
Community by definition can be described as: a unified body of individuals who share a common characteristic or interest, living in a particular area, within a larger society.
LSH was created with community as one of the cornerstones of our platform. Our goal is to gather, connect, cater to, and encourage, a wide base of likeminded individuals who share the common interest of shopping second hand, and possess the shared characteristic of wearing extended sizes.
We want to engage with you, our beloved customers, through our platform and social media outlets, where we will also encourage you all to engage with each other. Ultimately, by pooling together what we own collectively, our community will continue to grow, and our journey to be seen, heard, and valued, will enable us to debunk the myths that people who wear larger sizes don’t deserve to be included in fashion systems or conversations surrounding sustainability.

OUR founder
The inspiration behind LSH materialized out of a personal decision to be more mindful in my shopping habits.
Buying second hand has always been a passion of mine, however as a Brooklyn transplant to Stockholm, I quickly realized the difficulty in finding items, which fit my body, and my personal style. The concept of LSH grew out of that very experience.
I hope together, we can extend the lifetime of each garment displayed on our platform, thereby creating an ever circulating inventory of pre-loved clothing. Let’s keep items out of landfills and available to our community.

Yes, some of our items do go on sale, and from time to time we provide special offers or discount codes to LSH members.
-
The items sold on our website are for whomever purchases them! While we hope that visitors who wear sizes which are smaller than our size range refrain from buying any clothing items, (since this lessens the availability of items for visitors who do wear the sizes in our size range), we are an inclusive community that encourages mutual respect, consideration, acknowledgement, and visibility within our community. No matter how you identify, LSH is available for you.
-
We do not have a physical store currently, but we hope to be able to have one in the future!
-
Since we do not have a physical store, if you are hesitant about the fit of items you would like to purchase, it can be arranged that we meet up with you at a location of your preference, where you can try on the garments. This service is only available to buyers located in the Stockholm metro area and who have signed up to be LSH members.
